We’re down to the final 5 days before Lauren and I are driving home for break. I have 2 HR midterms, a spanish presentation, and to turn in my study abroad application/scholarship applications…all before Wednesday! Thursday will be a breeze, and we’re leaving early Friday morning.
Yesterday, Lauren and I caught the bus to Wilde Roast Cafe for a delicious breakfast and then went to get coffee and study at Taraccino around the corner. After a few hours we walked back to Lauren’s but we HAD to stop at Pacifier because they have the cutest baby clothes ever (I have one little cousin, Lauren has LOTS!) and I begged to stop at Bella Lana, who got a new website which is awesome. I got a 2 skeins of Noro and 4 skeins of Mirasol Peru. No idea what I’ll make, but it was all on sale and I got a great deal.
Last night during the Oscars I whipped up a really giant, really red, really squooshy seed stitch moebius cowl. Unfortunately, when I started I forgot to twist then join so it’d actually be a moebius so I went fifteen rows with an untwisted cowl. So, I frogged it and started again. It’s definitely twisted now. I’d love to show you BUT I’ll have to upload a picture another time because I am at the library, studying for my 4:35 HRD midterm.
